JACKIE MUNRO

Jackie stayed with us while editing and researching a new documentary she is working on  the health risks of the sugar cane workers in Nicaragua.

Jackie is a photographer, filmmaker, and educator. Her work documents the relationships people have to their histories and the natural environment.
Jackie has worked at The International Center of Photography, the 92nd Street Y, PhotoManhattan, New York University, Amigos de las Américas, The Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, and Santa Fe Community College. She believes in teaching photography as a tool for empowerment, she has traveled to many LatinAmerican countries to do so.
 Jackie graduated from New York University╩╝s Tisch School of the Arts in 2009 with a BFA in Photography & Imaging. She lives and works in Santa Fe, NM.
